{"id":116,"date":"2013-07-03T08:58:59","date_gmt":"2013-07-03T08:58:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.heritagedata.org\/blog\/?p=116"},"modified":"2013-07-03T08:58:59","modified_gmt":"2013-07-03T08:58:59","slug":"spreading-the-word-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.heritagedata.org\/blog\/spreading-the-word-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Spreading the word 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I attended a meeting of the END Technical Working Group at the National Museum Collection Centre in Nantgarw on Thursday 27th June 2013 to talk about what we&#8217;re doing in SENESCHAL.\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.6; color: #4e4e4e;\">The END group consists of members from a number of key Welsh cultural heritage organisations:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.6; color: #4e4e4e;\"><a title=\"RCAHMS\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rcahmw.gov.uk\/\">Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales (RCAHMW) <\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.6; color: #4e4e4e;\"><a title=\"CADW\" href=\"http:\/\/cadw.wales.gov.uk\/\">CADW &#8211; The Welsh Government&#8217;s historic environment service<\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.6; color: #4e4e4e;\"><a title=\"CPAT\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cpat.org.uk\/\">Clwyd-Powys archaeological trust<\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.6; color: #4e4e4e;\"><a title=\"Dyfed Archaeological Trust\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dyfedarchaeology.org.uk\/\">Dyfed archaeological trust<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.6; color: #4e4e4e;\"><a title=\"Gwynedd Archaeological Trust\" href=\"http:\/\/www.heneb.co.uk\/\">Gwynedd archaeological trust<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.6; color: #4e4e4e;\"><a title=\"Glamorgan-Gwent archaeological rrust\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ggat.org.uk\/\">Glamorgan-Gwent archaeological trust<\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.6; color: #4e4e4e;\"><a title=\"National Museum of Wales\" href=\"http:\/\/www.museumwales.ac.uk\">National Museum of Wales<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Following the meeting there was an opportunity for an extremely interesting quick supervised &#8216;tour&#8217; of some of the larger artefacts held in storage at the collections centre &#8211; buses, train carriages, a lifeboat, even a rescue helicopter!
